Baby Number Two is on the Way!

Hello friends, we meet again! I am happy to report that we are having baby number two (applause!!!). We are so very excited and let's be honest, extremely nervous. We talked about having children close together so it wasn't a complete surprise, but we did not expect it to happen so quickly.

So here we are. Another round at growing a baby. When I found out I was pregnant, it was on my birthday. What a great birthday present, huh? I was extremely excited to share the news and couldn't wait to start telling people.

This time around I didn't tell Kenny in a cute way. I took the test before I got into the shower, got out of the shower, and took it with me into the next room. I told him I took the test and it was negative, in which he responded, then why are you smiling so big. I couldn't help but smile, I am awful at telling lies, and I was ecstatic. Another baby? Another baby! Is this real life? Why yes it is mother of two!We told people by sending out a picture of Max wearing a shirt that said, "Best Brother Ever" Some people got it right away, some people thought we were just being frugal with a shirt from the goodwill!

I went the usual route of telling people, family, friends, and then social media. It is hard because somebody is going to get their feelings hurt because you didn't tell them before so and so, or you told them after they thought they should be told. Truth is, I do not make a list and say ok I am going to tell this person, then this person, etc. I tell people as it comes, and if I hurt your feelings that is not what is meant to happen. I am sorry that you felt that way. We were happy and in the moment, as every parent should be.

Anyways...

We went to the doctor, and our due date is September 6th. We couldn't hear the heartbeat because little tadpole is still so little, but we did see the heartbeat beating on the screen. I mean honestly, what a freaking miracle! I mean really, what a freaking miracle!!

Well Hello Little Tadpole!

So here is the plan. I plan on doing the best I can keeping up with this blog and our journey. As you know the first blog was hard for me to keep up, and well now I am just a bit busier. I will do the updates like I did last time, but with something different.

Thank you again for reading this, it makes me feel super loved, and I know when baby tadpole looks back on this, he or she will also feel loved in knowing that all of these people cared for him or her before they were even born.

P.S. Dear little tadpole, there are a lot of people out there hoping that you are a little girl and well frankly Mommy and Daddy wouldn't mind that so much. Just know that we love you know matter what you are and we can't wait to meet you!
