Makenzie Update

Had a doctor's appointment yesterday that went well. Her heartbeat is at 156, she weighs 7 pounds and 14 ounces, has a lot of hair apparently and did not want the doctor to measure her because every time he put the tape measure on my belly she would move. Sounds like my stubborn sweet girl, haha. I am 2 cm dilated which means we are closer. My last appointment is this Friday August 22nd (my due date), where they will strap her up to a monitor to see fluids, movements, heartbeats, contractions, etc. If everything seems ok they will schedule for me to be induced, if anything looks off they will send me to the hospital that day. I will try and wait it out as long as I can. I was hoping that they would let me go until September 6th, since that is the other date that they told me, but in their office they only allow you to go over your due date by a week which means no matter what happens we will meet Makenzie by Labor Day weekend. I am so excited to finally get to hold her and meet her. I am also nervous to have two children under the age of two, haha. Max has no idea what is going on but he knows something is about to happen. We tried getting him to understand that Makenzie is in mommy's belly, but all he took from that is that everybody's belly is called Makenzie. He does know where his sister's room is and he will show you, but I don't think he quite understands what will be in sister's room here shortly.

Update

Have not been able to update lately, but I did have a doctor's appointment the other day. I tested positive for B Strep, which stresses me out even more. Doctor says not to worry but that's impossible, has she met me?

Also some exciting news!!!! Turns out that my due date is August 22nd and not September 6th. So it looks like our baby girl will be here sooner than we thought. My due date was originally August 22nd but a doctor changed it when she gave me an ultrasound. My current doctor looked again at my last doctor's appointment and said nope it should have never been changed. So there you go. We could have a baby in 2 weeks!! I am excited and nervous all at the same time. I was prepared to be 36 weeks today, not 38. Guess I need to start working on getting things together :)

Sleep: I can sleep well on my side, but my hips hurt like crazy every morning from laying on them all night long.

Movement: lots of movement, this little girl is going to be on the move

Diet: anything and everything that sounds good, my appetite is definitely back and sometimes I think my body is trying to make up for food it has lost out on haha!

We went to the pool at Grandpa Rob's house with some good friends! It was lots of fun!

Symptoms: my back has been killing me lately, for some reason I feel like my stomach is heavier with this pregnancy. I don't know exactly how to explain it, but it just feels completely different.  With Max I didn't ever really feel pregnant, I just felt bloated.

We spent Memorial Day at GG's and Cheif's. We played in the pool, ate Popsicles, and hung out with Uncle Robbie and Nora.

We celebrated a special little lady's 1st birthday this weekend! Happy Birthday Andi!

I have been married to this man for 3 years, although it feels like an eternity to him. I can not imagine my life with anybody else and I am so blessed that God put him in my life. I truly believe this man is my soul mate because he makes me a better person, makes me smile everybody, and can push my buttons like nobody else. Not to mention because of him I am a mommy to two wonderful little babies. The best thing of all is he loves me for me, and never tries to change my crazy. I love you more than live, and I cant wait to grow old with you.

Doctor's Appointment

I had a doctor's appointment last week and everything went great. I am measuring on track and her heartbeat came in at a high 140. I took the sugar test which was disgusting as usual. The positive was that I did not have to drink the orange this time because they had fruit punch, yay.....I chugged it within a minute (thank you college days) and was tested in an hour. I passed the test which was a relief! I go back in June, and that is the time I will start going every two weeks. You heard that right, every two weeks. What the heck, didnt we just find out we were having a baby?

Sleep: sometimes

Miss anything? going to the tanning bed

Best Moment of the week:  passing the sugar test!

Movement: shes starting to move around a lot more because instead of just feeling her kick my bladder, I can now feel her moving up around my ribs

Diet:whatever I can eat, although my appetite is alot better than it has been, it's almost as if I am making up for what I couldnt eat in the begining haha!

Food Cravings: nachos, ice, and salad

Anything making you queasy or sick:  meat, anytime I cook anything I cant eat it. Thank God my husband can cook.

Symptoms: heartburn. I have had some major heartburn lately. Doesnt matter what I eat, it is the worst!

We went to a bunch of yard sales with Aunt Pam, Grandma Margie, and Cousin Cayla. Max found something he liked and we found some clothes for his baby sister!

We saw alot of the Kron family this weekend! We had a wedding Saturday night and then a family picnic Sunday afternoon. It was nice to see everybody. Hopefully we make this an annual thing.

Then I got to witness one of my favorite people get married. Seriously, I do not know a couple that deserved this special day more. It was perfect and we had a blast. Congratulations Theresa and Jimmy!
